The Newfoundland and Labrador Snowmobile Federation Inc. (NLSF) incorporated in 1994 as the Newfoundland Federation of Snowmobile Clubs Inc. with our name change taking effect in 1997. The NLSF is the provincial governing body of 20 volunteer snowmobile clubs across the province, extending from Codroy Valley to St. Anthony and as far East as St. John’s. The NLSF is a not-for-profit, volunteer organization made up of directors from all of the clubs across the province.
The NLSF own 19 groomers used by the clubs to keep our trail network of approximately 4000 kms across the island in great shape and in as timely a manner as possible. The NLSF is responsible for ensuring all trails are safely maintained by replacing and/or repairing damaged culverts, bridges, or washouts and removing blowdowns in the trail to ensure the safety of our users in the winter. |
